About the role

G2 Legal Limited, a Legal 500‑ranked firm, is expanding its Corporate team in Swindon. The role offers the chance to advise a varied client base, from start‑ups to national companies, across technology, IT and life‑science sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on mergers, acquisitions and business disposals.
• Supporting private‑equity transactions, investments and management buy‑outs.
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder, partnership and investment agreements.
• Advising on corporate governance and joint‑venture arrangements.
• Assisting with restructures, reorganisations and wider strategic projects.
• Running your own matters while collaborating with senior partners on complex, high‑value transactions.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' post‑qualification experience in corporate law.
• Strong experience handling corporate transactions, particularly M&A.
• Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills.
• Enthusiastic about networking, business development and engaging with the local business community.
