Corporate Solicitor – Associate Level (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor at associate level to join our expanding corporate team in Exeter. The role offers hybrid working, a clear progression path to senior leadership, and the chance to work on high‑value corporate and commercial matters for SMEs and growth‑stage companies across the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, business and share sales.
• Conduct corporate restructuring and governance matters.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, trading agreements, shareholder and investment agreements.
• Provide strategic business advisory to SMEs, investors and growth‑stage companies.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Support junior lawyers and contribute to team development.
• Help shape the direction of the corporate department.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales).
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in corporate/commercial law.
• Strong experience in M&A, corporate restructuring, and commercial agreements.
• Based in Exeter or willing to relocate to the South West (including Taunton).
• Commitment to long‑term career development within the firm.
