About the role

A fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor in Leeds to join a highly regarded Tier 1 corporate practice within a major international law firm. You will work alongside high‑profile partners on M&A, private‑equity and cross‑border transactions, gaining exposure to sophisticated, career‑defining work for FTSE‑100 clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advising clients on a broad range of corporate transactions.
• Working on high‑value mergers and acquisitions.
• Managing private‑equity transactions from inception to completion.
• Advising on complex cross‑border deals.
• Drafting and reviewing key transaction documents.
• Co‑ordinating elements of transactions with support from senior lawyers.
• Collaborating closely with partners, associates and clients to deliver excellent outcomes.
• Building strong client relationships and developing commercial awareness.

Required profile

• A solicitor with around 3 to 6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in corporate transactional work, particularly M&A and private‑equity.
• Comfortable handling complex, high‑value transactions.
• Exposure to cross‑border corporate work is desirable.
• Commercially minded with strong technical and drafting abilities.
• A desire to develop a career within a large international law firm.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from £77,000 to £90,000 per year.
