Corporate Tax Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Corporate Tax Advisor to join our client’s high‑performing tax advisory team in Milton Keynes. This hybrid role offers the chance to work on strategic, compliant tax solutions for UK and multinational entities, supporting client growth and long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax advisory services covering compliance, planning, reporting and structuring for UK and international entities.
• Lead preparation, review and submission of corporate tax returns (CT600, CT600A) and related schedules.
• Conduct tax impact assessments for M&A, corporate reorganisations and restructurings.
• Advise on transfer pricing policies, permanent establishment risks and OECD BEPS compliance.
• Design and implement tax‑efficient structures to optimise client positions.
• Monitor changes in UK tax law, HMRC guidance and case law, ensuring timely implementation.
• Collaborate with audit, legal and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical expertise development.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders, including CFOs and board members, to communicate complex tax insights.

Required profile

• Qualified professional with CTA, ACA or ACCA status.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in corporate tax within a top‑tier firm or leading corporate tax department.
• In‑depth knowledge of UK corporation tax, capital gains tax, stamp duty, group relief and R&D tax credits.
• Proven experience in tax planning, compliance and advisory for complex transactions.

Required skills

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Expertise in corporate tax returns (CT600, CT600A).
• Transfer pricing and OECD BEPS compliance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
