Corporate Tax Assistant Director

About the role

Join a fast‑growing tax team within a leading audit, tax and consulting network. You will be a key member of a high‑performing corporate tax compliance and advisory practice, supporting a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial and mid‑market businesses as well as larger corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Own a client portfolio and lead the delivery of premium corporation tax compliance services.
• Act as the main client contact, maintaining regular dialogue with senior client stakeholders.
• Provide clear, technically accurate tax advice on international expansion, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group and shareholder reorganisations, loss relief, interest treatment, capital allowances and the tax aspects of acquisitions and disposals.
• Develop and maintain an external network of peers and stay informed on broader business and economic factors affecting clients.
• Collaborate with partners, directors and other service lines to support regional business development.
• Liaise with colleagues across departments to identify tax risks and opportunities for their clients.
• Coach and guide junior team members, fostering continual improvement.

Required profile

• ACA qualification (or equivalent); CTA preferred or proven tax advisory experience.
• Significant client‑facing experience in corporate tax.
• Strong corporate tax compliance background, including preparation and review of tax computations.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of corporate tax and proven advisory experience on complex tax matters.
