Corporate Tax Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join our Cheltenham team. The role combines high‑level advisory work with oversight of complex compliance engagements for a diverse client portfolio ranging from owner‑managed businesses to large corporate groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UK and cross‑border corporate tax advisory projects, including group reorganisations, de‑mergers, due diligence, financial arrangements and transfer‑pricing reviews.
• Oversee complex corporate tax compliance engagements and support R&D tax credit reviews.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and manage financial performance of client and project work.
• Collaborate with audit and other service‑line partners to generate new business.
• Coach and develop junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA or CTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience at Senior Manager level or already at Director level.
• Extensive corporate tax experience across advisory and compliance.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent client service.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
