Corporate Tax Director

About the role

This senior leadership position offers a high‑impact opportunity to shape corporate tax advisory services for a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm. Based in London with hybrid working, the role combines strategic client influence, complex project delivery and a clear pathway to partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex corporate tax advisory engagements for owner‑managed businesses, large corporates and international groups.
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, building long‑term client relationships.
• Oversee tax projects, managing scope, risk, budgets and delivery quality.
• Drive business development through networking, proposal preparation and identifying advisory opportunities.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Corporate Tax service line.
• Lead, mentor and develop high‑performing tax teams.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.

Required profile

• Currently operating at Corporate Tax Senior Manager or Director level, or a high‑performing Senior Manager ready for promotion.
• Strong background in corporate tax advisory with experience managing complex projects.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships at senior stakeholder level.
• Commercially minded with a track record of identifying and developing business opportunities.
• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Clear ambition to progress to Partner level.
