Corporate Tax Director or Senior Manager

About the role

Join a leading national professional services firm as a Corporate Tax Director or Senior Manager, based in Milton Keynes (or Cambridge). You will work within a highly regarded corporate tax practice, collaborating with partners and directors to deliver complex advisory and compliance services for mid‑market and internationally active clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory and compliance delivery for a portfolio of large corporate clients with cross‑border operations.
• Support business development through bids, proposals, client pitches and regional networking.
• Coach, develop and mentor a growing tax team to ensure long‑term capability and succession.
• Maintain strong internal and external relationships and stay current on the firm’s broader service offering.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the Cambridge office and the national tax practice.

Required profile

• CTA or ATII qualified (or equivalent) with senior‑manager level experience.
• Broad corporate tax expertise covering both advisory and compliance work.
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and deliver high‑quality technical output.
• Strong commercial instincts and interest in business development.
• Collaborative, approachable leadership style.
