Corporate Tax Manager – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a leading chartered accountancy firm in Birmingham. You will manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, providing both compliance and advisory tax services while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering compliance and advisory work.
• Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by the team.
• Advise on tax planning matters, including R&D claims and restructurings.
• Support and mentor junior members of the tax team.
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on complex tax matters.

Required profile

• CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience working within a UK practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Proven experience managing and developing junior colleagues.
