Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a leading Chartered Accountancy firm in Manchester. This position offers a blend of client‑facing advisory work, compliance responsibilities, and the chance to lead a diverse portfolio of UK and international corporate tax engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a corporate tax portfolio for a range of UK and international clients.
• Deliver tax advisory projects and provide ad‑hoc consultancy.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance and tax planning activities.
• Advise companies on their tax liabilities and develop strategic tax solutions.
• Conduct research and planning for specific tax projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
• Participate in client meetings and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA and/or CTA qualification.
• Solid corporate tax background within a UK practice.
• Experience with OMB systems is desirable.
• Proven expertise in corporate tax advisory and compliance.
• Strong communication and client‑relationship skills.
