Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a progressive Chartered Accountants firm in Kent. The role blends corporate tax compliance with advisory work, allowing you to build trusted relationships with owner‑managed businesses, family‑owned companies and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients and ensure all compliance deadlines are met.
• Deliver corporate tax advisory services to medium and large family‑owned businesses.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on commercially effective solutions.
• Support high‑net‑worth individuals with relevant tax matters.
• Provide guidance on corporate restructures, transactions and succession planning.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Review work prepared by junior team members, offering coaching and technical support.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Strong corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Experience managing both compliance and advisory assignments.
• Awareness of tax issues affecting high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Technical knowledge across a range of industries, ideally including renewables, food production, rural estates and leisure.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify tax risks and planning opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
