About the role

The Corporate Tax Manager will deliver expert tax advice and compliance services to a range of clients within an established accountancy firm in Maidstone. The role involves managing complex tax projects, supporting junior staff and contributing to the growth of the tax department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee corporate tax compliance processes for multiple clients.
• Provide tailored tax advisory services and identify planning opportunities.
• Prepare, review and submit tax returns and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and industry standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser.
• Assist in business development initiatives to expand tax services.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in accounting or tax (CTA).
• Experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for client and colleague interaction.
