Corporate Tax Senior Manager (Bristol)

About the role

A leading chartered accountancy firm in Bristol is seeking a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Senior Manager. You will lead the delivery of complex compliance and advisory work across a diverse client portfolio, with a clear pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax compliance and advisory delivery for a complex client base.
• Advise on corporation tax, group structures, M&A, reorganisations and strategic tax planning.
• Review corporate tax returns and computations prepared by managers and junior staff.
• Drive business development through proposals, networking and practice growth.
• Build senior client relationships and act as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop managers and junior members of the tax team.

Required profile

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with strong corporate tax experience.
• Minimum seven years’ experience in a UK practice environment.
• Proven track record at manager or senior manager level on complex corporate tax advisory work.
• Deep technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
• Confidence to engage at board and partner level and a commercial, business‑development mindset.
