Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a leading Chartered Accountants firm in Crawley. The role offers flexible working, a competitive pension scheme and the chance to develop client relationships across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services within agreed deadlines.
• Provide technically robust advice on group structures, research & development tax credits, capital allowances and other complex tax matters.
• Mentor and support junior tax team members, contributing to their professional development.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities within existing accounts and support new client proposals.
• Liaise directly with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling enquiries and negotiations.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice or in‑house tax department.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Ambition to progress towards Director or Partner level.
• Right to work in the UK without restriction.
