About the role

Pro-Finance, a respected accountancy practice in Newbury, is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team. This position offers a blend of compliance and advisory work with a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed and entrepreneurial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax compliance for a varied client base.
• Deliver advisory projects for owner‑managed businesses and growing companies.
• Support group restructures, reorganisations, and R&D or specialist relief claims.
• Develop and execute tax planning assignments.
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff members.
• Maintain direct client interaction and manage relationships.

Required profile

• Practice‑based corporate tax experience.
• Exposure to owner‑managed business (OMB) clients.
• CTA studies underway/completed or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Proactive, commercially aware mindset.
