Cost Controller – Manufacturing Finance

About the role
The Cost Controller will join the finance team of a leading FMCG manufacturer in Halstead, supporting the plant’s financial and operational performance. You will deliver accurate reporting, assist budgeting and forecasting, and enhance cost visibility across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Produce month‑end financial reports and analyse industrial cost data to support decision‑making.
- Maintain and update material standard costs, ensuring they reflect current operational realities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis for products, brands and SKUs.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in cost management.
Required profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in controlling, manufacturing finance, cost accounting or a similar finance environment.
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented and comfortable handling large, complex data sets.
Required skills
- SAP knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
