Cost Manager – Major Energy Infrastructure Programme

About the role

The Resolute Group is seeking a Cost Manager to support a major energy infrastructure programme delivering electricity transmission and grid reinforcement projects across the UK. This permanent, hybrid role will involve commercial and cost management of high‑value infrastructure packages, working closely with client teams, contractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Produce cost reports, forecasts and manage budgets for infrastructure packages.
• Administer NEC contracts (Option E) and support change control and compensation events.
• Review contractor submissions, valuations and commercial reports.
• Provide risk, value and cost governance across live projects.
• Support programme‑level commercial assurance and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across client, consultancy and contractor teams.

Required profile

• Experience in quantity surveying, cost management or commercial roles within infrastructure, utilities or heavy civil projects.
• Strong exposure to NEC contracts, preferably NEC3 or NEC4.
• Proven ability in cost reporting, forecasting and change control.
• Experience working on large‑scale, regulated infrastructure programmes.
