Costing Analyst

About the role

The Costing Analyst will support the finance team by analysing cost data, maintaining models and providing insights that drive pricing and profitability decisions. Based in Bicester, you will work closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure cost information is accurate and actionable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and validate costing models to guarantee accuracy.
• Perform detailed cost analyses to inform pricing strategies and business decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to collect and verify cost‑related data.
• Monitor cost variances, produce reports and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities within the finance function.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and process optimisation projects.
• Prepare clear financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
