Counter Balance Forklift Driver – Harlow

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Counter Balance Forklift Driver to join a global food manufacturing client in Harlow. The position starts immediately and is offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become ongoing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a counter‑balance forklift safely to move raw materials, finished goods and pallets.
• Use a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) where required.
• Load and unload trucks, stock shelves and support production lines.
• Follow shift patterns – alternating early, late and occasional night shifts, Monday‑Friday.
• Undertake overtime on weekends, paid at enhanced rates after 40 hours.

Required profile

• Valid Counter Balance Forklift licence (including PPT endorsement if held).
• Proven experience in a busy warehouse or production environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional night work.
• Strong teamwork and health‑and‑safety awareness.

Required skills

• Counter Balance Forklift operation.
• Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) operation.
• Forklift licence compliance.
