Country Manager Sales – DACH

About the role

Macrobond is seeking a Country Manager Sales for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The role will lead new‑business acquisition and expand existing client relationships, positioning Macrobond’s economic and financial data platform with investment professionals, government bodies and corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target new prospects across the DACH market, presenting the platform’s integrated data and analysis tools.
• Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with Macrobond’s global strategy, using market intelligence to uncover sector‑specific opportunities.
• Conduct solution‑selling activities, including demos, proof‑of‑concepts and support for API integrations and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and research teams to deliver chart packs, thematic analysis and weekly market insights to clients.
• Achieve and exceed sales quotas and market‑share targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B SaaS or data‑driven solution sales, preferably to the investment community.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or surpass sales quotas.
• Strong networking capabilities and an extensive client network in the DACH region on both the buy‑side and sell‑side.
• Self‑motivated, high‑performance mindset with a focus on continuous development.

Required skills

• Experience selling SaaS or data solutions to banks, asset owners, analysts or strategists.
• Ability to craft and communicate compelling value propositions.
