Court of Protection Solicitor (2+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor or CILEx professional to join our specialist Court of Protection & Personal Injury Trusts team in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality legal advice to clients while supporting the growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert legal services in Court of Protection and Trusts matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage and supervise fee‑earners and support staff, maintaining departmental standards.
• Accurately record chargeable and non‑chargeable time to support financial objectives.
• Promote the practice through networking, article writing and website content updates.
• Maintain Lexcel compliance and uphold firm‑wide policies on AML, IT, health & safety and client care.
• Attend training and conferences to stay current with industry developments.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEx professional with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Court of Protection law and strong knowledge of trusts and personal injury matters.
• Excellent time‑management, organisational and independent working abilities.
• Professional, confident client interaction and networking skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Court of Protection regulations and Trusts law.
• Familiarity with Lexcel standards and anti‑money‑laundering compliance.
