About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to provide flexible, daily support to secondary schools in Gravesend. You will step into classrooms when the regular teacher is absent, delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑set lesson plans in the teacher’s absence.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, orderly environment.
- Keep students on task and engaged with their learning.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff after each lesson.
Required profile
- Previous experience working as a cover supervisor.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Confident communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine interest in education.
