About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to step into secondary school classrooms across North London when teachers are absent. This flexible, part‑time position offers the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absences
- Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support students in completing their work
- Report on student progress and behaviour
Required profile
- Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confident, proactive approach
- Ability to adapt to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
