About the role
We are seeking motivated Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Chelmsford. The role can be taken on a permanent or contract basis, supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, including those preparing for GCSEs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide cover supervision in classrooms, delivering lesson plans and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Manage student behaviour and ensure classroom discipline.
- Support KS3 and KS4 pupils with daily lessons and GCSE revision activities.
- Build positive relationships with students and staff across multiple schools.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom‑based role.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour‑handling skills.
- Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students.
- Positive, proactive and adaptable approach.
