Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply Teaching Role

About the role

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Bermondsey, London. You will step in during short‑term teacher absences, keeping classes focused and ensuring work is completed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
• Ensure students complete the work set by the regular teacher.
• Create a safe, positive and productive learning environment.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people is desirable.
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• A confident, professional and adaptable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
