About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a highly regarded secondary school in Havering. The role involves supervising classes during teacher absence, delivering pre‑set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes when the regular teacher is absent
- Deliver pre‑set work and keep students engaged
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff
Required profile
- Passion for education and supporting young people
- Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent)
- Confident, reliable and professional approach
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
