Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply Work in Newham

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to step into classrooms across a highly regarded all-through academy in Newham when teachers are absent. This flexible supply position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing you to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Deliver pre-set work and keep students engaged throughout the lesson.
- Maintain adherence to school behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Provide constructive feedback to teaching staff after each cover session.
Required profile
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent).
- Confident, reliable and professional approach.
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
