About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a secondary school in Newham. You will step in during teacher absences, ensuring lessons continue smoothly and students stay engaged.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes when the regular teacher is absent.
- Deliver pre‑set work and keep pupils focused.
- Maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
- Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff after each session.
Required profile
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent).
- Confident, reliable and professional attitude.
- Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
