Cover Supervisor for Secondary Schools

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across London. You will provide short‑term and daily cover for teachers, ensuring that pupils aged 11‑18 stay on task while teachers are absent.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classroom activities and maintain a productive learning environment.
- Deliver assigned tasks and worksheets to students during teacher absence.
- Cover full school days (approximately 8:30 am – 3:45 pm).
- Provide flexible support on short‑term, supply or longer‑term contracts.
Required profile
- Experience working with 11‑18‑year‑olds (e.g., graduate, youth worker, camp leader, sports coach, or youth offender support).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two references covering the past two years.
- Confident, positive and professional attitude towards young people.
Required skills
What we offer
- Day rates between £90 and £110.
