About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to oversee lessons in the absence of the class teacher at a school in Doncaster. The role involves delivering pre‑set work, maintaining classroom discipline and supporting pupil engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lessons and keep pupils on task.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold school policies.
• Encourage participation and support pupils in completing assigned work.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil performance and behaviour.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Calm, confident approach to managing groups and handling challenging situations.
• Proactive and reliable work ethic.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
