Cover Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a co‑educational secondary school and sixth form in South West London. The role is part‑time and temporary, offering an immediate start for recent graduates or experienced cover supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular class teacher.
• Manage pupil behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Engage with students, ensuring school behaviour policies are upheld.
• Carry out basic administrative tasks and utilise ICT tools effectively.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and teaching styles.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (up‑to‑date).
• UK Bachelor’s degree or overseas equivalent.
• Experience working with children or teenagers, either as a cover supervisor or in a similar role.

Required skills

• Good understanding of ICT and basic computer applications.
