Cover Supervisor – Newham & East London

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Newham and East London. You will step in during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning and a safe classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise classes when teachers are absent.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Support students with set work and follow each school’s policies.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the teaching staff promptly.

Required profile

  • Passion for education and a commitment to student welfare.
  • Minimum GCSE qualifications.
  • Reliable, professional attitude.
  • Previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential.

    • Daily pay ranging from £95 to £140.
