About the role

Vida Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Preston and surrounding areas. The role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers or anyone who enjoys working with young people and requires no prior classroom experience – full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise whole classes independently in the teacher’s absence.
  • Deliver pre‑set lesson work to students.
  • Manage behaviour and keep students engaged.
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Required profile

  • Experience working with young people (essential).
  • Confident, proactive and able to manage a classroom.
  • Good behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in working in education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
