Cover Supervisor – Secondary (Part‑time, £100‑£120/day)

About the role

Reeson Education are working with a secondary school in Shepperton that needs a flexible, part‑time Cover Supervisor. You will manage groups of up to 30 students independently and deliver set work to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cover for registration and deliver lessons left uncovered, often with limited preparation time and at short notice.
• Create a positive learning climate using the school’s Gold Classroom standards and behaviour policies, managing student behaviour fairly and consistently.
• Help students build self‑esteem through positive interactions, praise and encouragement.
• Assist with the development and implementation of SEN support plans.

Required profile

• Hold a degree or be an aspiring teacher.
• Interest in, and knowledge of, autism and experience managing distressing behaviours.
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm.
• Basic IT literacy with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
