About the role

The Cover Supervisor will step into secondary school classrooms across Bracknell when teachers are absent, ensuring continuity of learning and a safe environment for pupils. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands‑on classroom experience before embarking on teacher training.

Key responsibilities

Maintain positive behaviour and keep students engaged throughout lessons.
Deliver and supervise pre‑prepared work set by the class teacher.
Build professional relationships with students and staff.
Uphold safeguarding, health and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting young people.

Ability to commute to Bracknell.
