Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (NW4)

About the role
We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to step into secondary school classrooms across the NW4 area on short‑notice. You will maintain a positive learning environment while teachers are absent, using pre‑prepared lesson materials.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre‑set work provided by the class teacher.
- Keep students focused and engaged with the lesson.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensure a calm and orderly environment without planning or marking duties.
Required profile
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Previous experience in a classroom, teaching, tutoring or cover role is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviour confidently.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS.
Required skills
What we offer
- Daily rate up to GBP 110.
- Temporary contract with ongoing placement.
- Work hours 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, onsite at a well‑connected school.
