Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – West London

About the role

A West London secondary school is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to deliver pre‑planned lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The role starts in September and offers daily rates of £100‑£130, providing valuable classroom experience for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced education professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise lessons across KS3, KS4 and, where appropriate, KS5.
• Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials and keep learning on track.
• Maintain classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy.
• Support students with learning tasks and answer basic questions.
• Record attendance, complete lesson feedback and report any issues to teaching staff.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.

Required profile

• A degree or relevant experience working with young people.
• Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills.
• Confidence managing groups of secondary‑aged students.
• Calm, organised and adaptable approach.
• Genuine interest in education.
