Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Brent)

About the role

We are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to manage classrooms in secondary schools across Brent when the regular teacher is absent. This role offers valuable classroom experience for those considering a teaching career or wanting to develop their skills working with young people.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
• Maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Support students with their learning where necessary.

Required profile

• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
• Proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
