About the role

Reed is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to deliver planned and unplanned supply cover in secondary schools across Cambridgeshire. You will step into classrooms when the regular teacher is absent, ensuring lessons continue smoothly for students aged 11‑18.

Key responsibilities

Lead lessons using the teacher’s lesson plans and resources.
Maintain student engagement and on‑task behaviour throughout the session.
Adapt delivery across a wide range of subjects as required.
Provide accurate feedback to the school on the day’s activities.

Required profile

A recognised degree (essential).
Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
Confidence working with pupils aged 11‑18.
Professional, reliable and adaptable attitude.
Genuine interest in education and supporting young people.

Required skills
