Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Daily Supply)

About the role

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Hammersmith and Fulham. You will step in during short‑term teacher absences, delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the teacher’s short‑term absence.
• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and keep students engaged.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Support pupils of varying abilities and encourage participation.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom environments.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with secondary‑aged students (school, tutoring, youth work, coaching, etc.) is desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading a class.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure, any required overseas police clearances, and professional references.
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
