Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools

About the role
We are looking for confident, reliable individuals to act as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across the North West. In this part‑time, temporary position you will step into classrooms when teachers are absent, delivering pre‑prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑prepared lessons across a range of subjects.
- Maintain a focused and orderly classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
- Support students in completing assigned work and staying engaged.
Required profile
- Graduates interested in a career in education.
- Former or current support staff such as teaching assistants or learning mentors.
- Youth workers, sports coaches or community leaders with experience engaging young people.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish authority.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to different classrooms and school settings.
