Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools

About the role

We are looking for confident, reliable individuals to provide classroom cover in secondary schools across the North West. As a Cover Supervisor you will step in during teacher absences, delivering pre‑prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a focused and orderly classroom atmosphere.
• Manage behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
• Support pupils in completing assigned work.

Required profile

• Graduates interested in a career in education.
• Former or current support staff such as teaching assistants or learning mentors.
• Youth workers, sports coaches or community leaders with experience engaging young people.
• Ability to communicate clearly, establish authority and adapt quickly to different classrooms.
