Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Liverpool)

About the role

We are seeking confident Cover Supervisors to provide flexible, short‑term or longer‑term support across secondary schools in Liverpool and Sefton. The role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers and experienced education professionals who can maintain continuity of learning when teachers are absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Keep students engaged and on task throughout the school day.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Confidence leading groups of secondary‑school students.
• Genuine interest in education and secondary schools.
