Cover Supervisor – Secondary Supply Teacher (Flexible)

About the role
Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic secondary supply teachers to provide cover across schools in Littlehampton and surrounding areas. This flexible, temporary position allows you to maintain a work‑life balance while gaining experience in a variety of secondary school settings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across KS3‑KS4 subjects and year groups.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
- Provide feedback to departments and school leaders after lessons.
Required profile
- Experience teaching in secondary education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and reliability to work in different schools.
Required skills
- Effective lesson delivery.
- Student engagement techniques.
- Behaviour management strategies.
