Cover Support Assistant – Flexible Primary School Roles

About the role

Join a network of primary schools in Greenwich as a Cover Support Assistant, providing flexible, on‑site support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This role suits experienced teaching assistants seeking daily supply, short‑term or longer placements that fit around your schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Support pupils in early years and key stages 1‑2 within classroom settings.
  • Deliver small‑group interventions and assist with lesson delivery.
  • Step in to supervise whole‑class activities when required.
  • Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

Required profile

  • Recent experience working in UK primary schools.
  • Positive, reliable and adaptable attitude.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
