About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Teacher to provide day‑to‑day support for secondary‑age students across a range of subjects in Newham and surrounding schools. The position is full‑time, temporary and ideal for candidates looking for flexible, short‑term work while they continue their search for a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver cover teaching across multiple secondary subjects as required by partner schools.
- Support and engage students of secondary age, ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences.
Required profile
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE) and up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
