C&P Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

Fortescue Zero is seeking a Contracts & Procurement (C&P) Coordinator on a fixed‑term basis to support the efficient delivery of its programmes. The role will ensure that all goods, services and works are sourced in a cost‑effective, transparent and compliant manner.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating CSR/PSR registers to align with programme schedules and budgets.
• Support the implementation of sourcing strategies and coordinate purchase orders.
• Identify, pre‑qualify and shortlist suppliers, manage NDAs and terms & conditions.
• Collect supplier performance data and work with quality teams to develop improvement plans.
• Develop and monitor supplier performance measures and risk assessments at contract formation.
• Prepare contract award recommendations, onboard suppliers and handle contract administration, including correspondence and claims assessment.
• Resolve invoice queries related to contracts and purchase orders.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities, report monthly financial targets and flag emerging risks.
• Facilitate communication across departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely programme delivery.
• Produce management reports on C&P activities and maintain relevant systems and processes.

Required profile

• Experience supporting procurement and contract management activities.
• Ability to coordinate supplier identification, qualification and performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills for risk identification and cost‑initiative tracking.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
