CQC Registered Care Home Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead a newly opened, high-quality care home in Ingleby Barwick. The role offers full responsibility for performance, culture, compliance and commercial success, ensuring residents receive safe and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a values-driven, inclusive workplace.
• Maintain CQC compliance, prepare for inspections and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Oversee staffing levels, rota management and staff development, identifying future leaders.
• Manage budgets, control costs and drive occupancy growth while balancing resident outcomes.
• Provide clinical oversight, ensuring safe medication management and high standards of nursing care.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Care Home Manager or similar senior role.
• Track record of improving occupancy and achieving positive CQC outcomes.
• Experience managing nurses and large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
