Crane Supervisor – Commercial Construction Site

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Supervisor to join a commercial construction project in Exeter. The role is for an 18‑month fixed‑term contract, working Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑6 pm, overseeing all lifting operations on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all crane and lifting activities ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety procedures for each lift.
• Verify that all personnel involved hold the required certifications and are equipped with appropriate PPE.
• Maintain lift plans, documentation and daily logs.
• Liaise with site management and subcontractors to schedule lifts efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lifting operations, particularly within pre‑cast concrete works.
• Possession of a valid CPCS Card and a slinger ticket.
• Medical clearance to work at height.
• Reliable, consistent work ethic and ability to work autonomously.
