Creative Teacher – West London

About the role
The specialist post‑16 education provider in West London is looking for a Creative Teacher to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 creative programmes for learners aged 16‑25, including those with SEND. You will combine creativity with employability and personal development to help students build confidence and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality creative programmes across art, design, media and related subjects.
- Differentiate learning to meet a wide range of SEND needs and monitor progress against ILP targets and EHCP outcomes.
- Assess coursework, portfolios and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop engaging schemes of learning, project‑based activities and enrichment trips.
- Collaborate with learning support teams, external partners and safeguarding officers.
- Contribute to quality‑assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, QTS, QTLS or equivalent).
- Degree or professional qualification in a creative discipline such as Art & Design, Creative Media, Photography, Illustration, Graphic Design, Fashion or Digital Arts.
- Experience teaching in secondary, sixth‑form, further education, specialist or SEND settings.
- Demonstrated ability to support learners with SEND, EHCPs, autism or additional needs.
- Strong communication, organisation and classroom‑management skills.
